Eligibility / Requirements join Pak Army jobs 2024

Eligibility: Married/unmarried male citizens of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan.

Requirements: Soldier General Duty Trade, Soldier Technical Trade, Soldier Military Police Trade, Soldier Driver, Soldier Clerk, Soldier Cook, and Sanitary Worker.

Age

  • For all candidates: 17½ years to 23 years as of November 30, 2024.
  • For Sanitary Workers: 17½ years to 35 years as of November 30, 2024.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Soldier General Duty / Soldier Driver / Soldier Military Police:
    • Minimum Matriculation (10th grade) or higher.
    • For candidates from Balochistan, merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and children of martyrs, the minimum requirement is Middle (8th grade).
  • Soldier Technical Trade:
    • Minimum Matriculation in Science with a C grade.
    • Preference will be given to those with higher education.
  • Clerk:
    • Minimum Intermediate (12th grade) with a C grade.
    • For candidates from Balochistan, merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit Baltistan, the minimum requirement is Intermediate with a D grade.
    • Preference will be given to candidates with a computer diploma and higher education.
  • Cook:
    • Minimum Middle (8th grade).
    • Preference will be given to candidates with cooking experience.
  • Sanitary Worker: Illiterate (maximum education Primary).

Minorities’ Quota:

  • Candidates holding domicile of Balochistan and merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are eligible for an age relaxation of up to three years.
  • A specific quota is allocated for minorities.

Required Documents

  • Soldier General Duty / Soldier Driver / Soldier Technical:
    • Minimum height: 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm).
    • Original certificates along with two attested photocopies.
  • Soldier Military Police:
    • Minimum height: 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm).
  • Clerk / Cook:
    • Minimum height: 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).
  • Additional Documents:
    • Four passport-size photographs.
    • Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
    • Domicile and state residence certificate (for candidates from Azad Kashmir).
    • Candidates holding domicile of Balochistan, merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit Baltistan are eligible for a height relaxation of up to two inches.

Selection Procedure

  • Candidates can register online from September 2, 2024, to November 22, 2024, at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk.
    • Online registration is not mandatory.
    • Candidates can also register at the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Office or Regimental Center from September 2 to November 22, 2024.
  • Selection Process:
    • Candidates will undergo various tests as part of the recruitment process.
