Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Launches Free Solar panels Scheme for poor Peoples
Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched a new solar scheme 2024 to help poor families in KP. The scheme will provide complete solar power systems to 130,000 homes. This project is designed to bring electricity to homes that cannot afford it and to areas with high electricity losses.
Announcing that Maximum homes will be provided with a complete 2kilo watt solar system. In a meeting, technical experts provided a detailed briefing on the solar machinery, cost estimates, installation methods, and application procedures. Key Highlights of the KP Solar Scheme 2024
Increased Beneficiaries: The number of families benefiting from the solar scheme has been increased from 100,000 to 130,000.
Separate Scheme for Merged Districts: An additional 30,000 poor families from merged districts will receive solar systems under a separate scheme.
Focus on Needy Areas: Solar panels scheme 2024 will prioritize areas with high electricity losses, underdeveloped regions, and places that experience extreme heat.
Complete Solar Package: Each household will receive a full solar power system, including solar panels, wiring, stands for the panels, inverters, fans, and bulbs. This package will ensure that these families have reliable access to electricity.
Chief Minister Directions
Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur vision is to help the most vulnerable families in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Earlier, the Chief Minister chaired a high-level meeting to review the technical aspects and financial matters of the scheme. In the meeting, technical experts provided a detailed briefing on the characteristics of the solar machinery, its estimated cost, installation methods, and the application procedure. The Chief Minister’s Advisor on Finance, Manzil Aslam, Additional Chief Secretary for Planning and Development Syed Imtiaz Hussain Shah, and other relevant officials attended the meeting.
The Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities to prioritize the hottest, high line-loss, and most underdeveloped areas under this Government scheme 2024.
