Medical Branch (Psychiatrist) (SPSSC)

  • Nationality: Male citizens of Pakistan
  • Age: On 01 Nov 2024, 29-48 years
  • Rank: Squadron Leader
  • Training Period: 24 weeks
  • Qualification:
  • MBBS Minimum 2nd Div or equivalent and specialization in the following discipline from a Pakistani / Foreign medical college / university recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC/PMC):
    • Psychiatrist: FCPS / FRCP / MCRS / MRCP / Diplomat American Board

Medical Branch (GDMOs) (SPSSC)

  • Nationality: Male citizens of Pakistan
  • Age: On 01 Nov 2024, 24-28 years
  • Rank: Flight Lieutenant
  • Training Period: 24 weeks
  • Qualification:
  • MBBS Minimum 2nd Div or equivalent from a Pakistani / Foreign medical college / university recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC/PMC) having completed a minimum one-year house job in an institution recognized by the PMDC/PMC. Preference would be given to those having relevant field experience after house job.

Medical Branch (Dental Surgeon) (SPSSC)

  • Nationality: Male citizens of Pakistan
  • Age: On 01 Nov 2024, 23-28 years
  • Rank: Flight Lieutenant
  • Training Period: 24 weeks
  • Qualification:
  • BDS Minimum 2nd Div or equivalent from a Pakistani / Foreign medical college / university recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC/PMC) having completed a minimum one-year house job in an institution recognized by the PMDC/PMC. Preference would be given to those having relevant field experience after house job.

Selection Procedure

  • Online registration at www.joinpaf.gov.pk
  • Intelligence Test followed by Academic Test in relevant subjects at respective I&SC
  • Initial medical examination and interview at I&SC
  • Psychological Test of shortlisted candidates only
  • Interview by First AHQ Special Selection Board
  • Final medical examination at CMB, Lahore
  • Interview by Second AHQ Special Selection Board
  • Final Selection by AHQ in order of merit

  • Candidates who have appeared four times in ISSB for PMA/Graduate Course or equivalent Naval/PAF Courses
  • Withdrawn from any Academy/Training institution of Armed Forces on any ground
  • Withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces college/institution on disciplinary grounds
  • Tempering of academic certificates/documents
  • Candidates who appeared in ISSB within the last four months (120 days) prior to this course
