What is PMA Long Course 154 2024?
PMA Long Course is a 154-two-year training program course
This course is organized for regular commission officers of Combat and Combat Support Arms and Service in the Pakistan Army.
This course is conducted at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), Kakul (KPK).
PMA Long course prepares the cadet for specialized knowledge and skills that make him effective in the Pakistan Army.
During this course, the cadet is trained in some subjects which are given below
Leadership and teamwork
Physical fitness and training
Weapons handling and training
Military strategy and tactics
Academic subjects including Mathematics, Science, English and History
During this course, the cadets are given various physical and mental training to develop the discipline, perseverance, and patience of the armed forces. On completion of the PKA Long Course, the cadets are commissioned as second lieutenants in the Pakistan Army.
Eligibility Criteria for Second Lieutenant
PMA Long Education and Age Criteria
Intermediate or equivalent degree holder candidates aged 17 to 22 years can submit applications.
FSC and FA Must have a minimum of 55% Marks
Candidates who have 60% marks in BA/BSc BBA/BPA and FA/FSC 50% marks will be eligible for PMA Living Course.
Soldiers who are serving in the Pakistan Army and have 50% marks in FA/FSC can also apply.
Serving in Pakistan Air Force / Pakistan Navy who are two-year degree holders and aged between 17 to 23 years.
Military soldiers aged 17 to 25 years can also submit applications.

Only male candidates will be eligible to submit applications
Marital Status
Only unmarried pregnant women can submit applications. Soldiers of the Pakistan Army who are married and whose age is more than 20 years can also apply.
Physical requirements
The minimum height of the candidate should be 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm).
nationality
Residents of every province of Pakistan including Azad Kashmir/Gilgit Kashmir Balistan will be eligible to apply. A candidate with dual citizenship must renounce the citizenship of another country.
Visual quality
The lens should have a distance of 6/9 6/12 and near vision J7, J2, or N8, N12 with or without glasses.
PMA Long required Documents
Original certificate with detailed mark sheet of Matriculation, FA, FSC, or equivalent education attested must be submitted.
Candidates who are above 18 years of age should bring their Computerized National Identity Card or those below 18 years of age should bring their Computerized Form “B” or Computerized National Identity Card of their Head, Father, and Mother.
3x passport-size color photographs attested by grade 16 officer on front and back.
Candidates who are serving in the Army must also bring a photocopy of the “Recommended” letter from the Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) along with their relevant documents.

Army Selection and Recruitment Centers AS&RCs are located in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Gilgit, Hyderabad, Multan, DI Khan, Muzaffarabad, Faisalabad, Khuzdar and Puno Aqil.
